Experimental Study on the Combined Treatment of Flotation Wastewater Chromaticity with Ca(ClO)2 and Activated Carbon
Different adsorbents, oxidants, and aeration methods were used to study the chromaticity removal of flotation wastewater. The method of first adding Ca(ClO)2 and then adding activated carbon(40~80 mesh)was determined to jointly treat the chromaticity of flotation wastewater. The results showed that in 200 mL of raw water, the optimal dosage of activated carbon was 1 g,and when the usage of Ca(ClO)2 was reduced to 1 g,the chromaticity treatment of flotation wastewater could effectively remove the chromaticity, and the pH value of the treated solution met the discharge standards.
