Analysis of Gloss and Impact Properties of PC-xPMMA Polyester Materials for Architectural Decoration
Polycarbonate(PC)has excellent comprehensive properties and is widely used in the field of architectural decoration manufacturing.The properties of PC-XPMMA polyester material were prepared by adding polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)into PC.The effects of PMMA content on the gloss and impact properties of polycarbonate material were studied by experiment.The results show that when the content of PMMA in the material increases,the L value of the alloy decreases first,then increases,and then decreases.When the addition of PMMA reaches more than 40 parts,the coloration of PMMA dominates.When the amount of PMMA increased,the impact strength of the material first increased and then decreased,and the maximum value was 42.6 kJ/m2 when 40 parts of PMMA were added.This research is helpful to improve the polymer properties of building decoration materials and lay a theoretical foundation for the subsequent chemical refining.
