Objective:To establish a GC-MS and a HPLC/MS/MS method to for the determination of etomidate in E-cigarette Oil.Method:Using GC-MS and HPLC/MS/MS to detect etomidate in E-cigarette Oil.Results:The GC-MS method showed good linearity of etomidate in the concentration range of 0.02~0.5 mg/mL,with a linear correlation coefficient of 0.999 7.The detection limit is 0.01 mg/mL,and the quantitative limit is 0.02 mg/mL.The intraday precision and daytime precision were 1.95%~6.70%and 3.05%~4.74%respectively at high,medium,and low additive concentrations,accuracy:96.37%~99.00%,recovery rate 95.70%~99.03%.The HPLC-MS/MS method showed good linearity of etomidate in the mass concentration range of 0.5~10ng/mL,with a linear correlation coefficient of 0.999 4.The detection limit is 0.1 ng/mL,and the quantitative limit is 0.5 ng/mL.The intraday precision and daytime precision were 0.62%~4.08%and 1.72%~6.91%respectively at high,medium,and low additive concentrations,accuracy:99.50%~97.21%,recovery rate 96.32%~104.93%.Conclusion:GC-MS and HPLC-MS/MS methods can detect etomidate in e-cigarette oil,with high accuracy and good reproducibility.The sensitivity of HPLC-MS/MS method is higher.
