Experimental Exploration of Measuring Chloride Ions in Water Containing Chlorine Using Different Electrodes
Different measurement results can be obtained when using silver electrodes with silver sulfide film and long-life silver composite electrodes to determine the chloride ion content in chloride containing water in smelters.Explore the measurement conditions and influencing factors of these two electrodes, and determine chloride ions in water quality. The results showed that the relative error of both electrodes was less than±3%,and the relative standard deviation was less than 2%.However,the test results of the membrane electrode with silver sulfide film were overall higher than those of the long-life silver composite electrode, and the precision of the membrane electrode with silver sulfide film was better than that of the long-life silver composite electrode.
