Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand in Surface Water Around a Concentrator
The chemical oxygen demand in a water body can reflect the degree of pollution of the water body.In order to determine the chemical oxygen demand of the surface water quality around a concentrator, the sample results were analyzed according to some parameters such as the detection limit, the lower limit of the determination, the precision and the accuracy of the determination method.Experimental data show that the measured detection limit is 3 mg/L,and the lower limit of the determination is 12 mg/L,which is small compared with the data given in the standard(HJ828-2017).By measuring two different concentrations of standard samples with low concentration and high concentration, the results showed that the relative standard deviation was 2.9%and 0.5%,respectively,meeting the requirements of the method within 10%.According to the test results,it can be judged that the surface water around the concentrator has not exceeded the discharge limit, and the data has reached the standard.
