Analysis and Optimization Measures for High Total Sulfur after Mercaptan Removal of Liquefied Gas
In this paper, the problems existing in the catalytic sweetening unit of a petrochemical company were analyzed after maintenance and operation again. For the problems existing in the sweetening unit, such as unsatisfactory lye regeneration effect, high hydrogen sulfide after LPG desulfurization tower and high total sulfur after sweetening, and high disulfide in lye after regeneration,a rectification plan was proposed, and the process operation was optimized and adjusted. After technical improvement and process index operation optimization, the operation results show that the disulfide in the recycled lye is stable and controllable, and the Lye service life is extended and the discharge of alkali residue is reduced than before when the hydrogen sulfide, total sulfur and carbon tetra-total sulfur are qualified after the LPG removal. The acid consumption of alkylation plant is reduced and the reactor is put into use, which has certain economic benefits.
