HDS Activity and Selectivity of Thiophene Hydrodesulfurization Catalyst for Coke Oven Gas
In order to address the impact of stable, difficult to remove, and heterocyclic sulfide thiophene in coke oven gas processing on the reaction, this article studies the activity and selectivity of catalysts under different atmosphere effects and different pore structure supports. It is found that the hydrogenation conversion rate of C4H4S under different atmosphere conditions and support structures shows a continuous increasing trend with the increase of temperature. At the same time, the catalyst has little effect on the hydrogenation conversion rate of C4H4S under N2,CH4,and C2H6 atmosphere conditions, while the catalyst has a greater impact on the hydrogenation conversion rate of C4H4S under C2H4 atmosphere conditions. At the same reaction temperature,as the pore volume of the catalyst increases, the activity of HDS also shows a gradually increasing trend, which contributes to the efficient application of coke oven gas.
