Design and Application of Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Plan During the Shutdown Period of Fully Mechanized Mining Face
The mining of high gas coal seams faces the problem of coexistence and coupling of gas and coal spontaneous combustion, especially during the withdrawal period of the working face, the risk of spontaneous combustion increases exponentially. This article focuses on the fire prevention and extinguishing work difficulties faced during the withdrawal period of the 8306 fully mechanized top coal caving working face.Firstly,it analyzes the fire prevention and extinguishing problems such as excessive residual coal in the goaf, hidden air leakage hazards in the working face, slow or even stagnant pushing of the working face. Then, targeted comprehensive fire prevention and extinguishing plans are formulated to prevent air leakage in the goaf, nitrogen inerting in the goaf, spraying of inhibitors behind the hydraulic support, and strengthening monitoring, prediction and pre reporting, effectively suppressing the spontaneous combustion process of residual coal in the goaf and ensuring the safety production of the mine.
