Study on a Special Ozone Pollution Process in Beihai City
An ozone pollution process in beihai city on May 4-5,2022 was investigated. The results show that the 8-hour average of O3 is unevenly distributed, with the highest point being 172.0μg/m3 and the lowest point being 120.0μg/m3.VOCs qualitative and quantitative analysis of 54 organic compounds, detected benzene,1,2-dichloropropane,toluene,ethylbenzene,m-xylene(p-xylene),1,2,4-trimethylbenzene,concentration level of 0.4~3.2μg/m3,the other 48 organic compounds were not detected.By qualitative analysis of parallel samples, seven organic compounds including acetonitrile,n-hexane,1,3-dichloropropanol,2,6-ditert-butylcresol and aldehyde were detected. The correlation analysis between nitrogen dioxide and ozone showed that during the pollution days, there was a significant decrease of nitrogen dioxide concentration in daytime and a sharp increase of ozone, and there was a high negative correlation between the two,and a moderate negative correlation between the two at night.HYSPLIT backward track was used to trace the source of air mass, and the cities with 1 000 m tracks also had ozone exceeding to the standard, suggesting that ozone pollution was transmitted through each other.
