Effect of Modified Chicken Manure Biochar on the Adsorption of Fertilizer
In this paper, biochar was prepared from chicken manure in muffle furnace at 500℃oxygen limiting temperature, and modified by microwave heating and ultraviolet irradiation. The biochar was characterized by pH,electrical conductivity, specific surface area and Fourier infrared spectroscopy. The biochar was characterized by adsorption kinetics model and absorption isotherm model, the adsorption mechanism of biochar from chicken manure before and after modification was studied. The results showed that the adsorption capacity of biochar on fertilizer was increased by 1.65 mg/g,and the adsorption capacity of chicken manure biochar was increased by 1.65 mg/g,the adsorption capacity of the biochar modified by UV was increased by 2.44 mg/g,and the adsorption processes of the three biochars were all in accordance with the quasi-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir model, the results show that the chemical adsorption is dominant and monolayer adsorption.
