Preparation of PVA/CS Porous Composite Material and its Adsorption Performance for Methyl Orange
With the rapid development of the printing and dyeing industry at present, while providing more choices for the public,it has also led to increasingly serious pollution problems. In the production process of the printing and dyeing industry,it is inevitable to use pigments and dyes to color their products, and pollutants will be generated during this process. At present, research on dye treatment has received significant attention. This article is based on the porous composite material of polyvinyl alcohol/chitosan(PVA/CS),exploring the preparation process of the material and proving its adsorption performance for acid dyes through experiments. The final results indicate that the prepared PVA/CS porous composite material has the ability to adsorb acidic dyes, especially methyl orange,a commonly used dye in the textile industry, with good adsorption performance.
