Determination of Lead Content in Walnut by Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy
The monitoring of heavy metal lead content has become one of the key detection indicators for natural agricultural products such as walnuts. This article uses wet digestion graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy to determine the Pb content in walnuts.Under the optimal pre-treatment and instrument conditions, the lead content in walnut samples from 20 different production areas(all from Sichuan)was determined. The method showed good linearity in the concentration range of 0.00~200.00 ng/mL,and the instrument detection limit was 0.005 mg/L.The relative range of the measured values of the quality control samples is 9.93%,which meets the precision requirements specified in GB5009.12-2023.The relative error of the measured values of the quality control samples is-7.50%~-16.25%,indicating that the method is accurate and the measurement results are reliable.
