Evaluation of Coal Mine Pressure Relief Mining Performance Based on Surface Well Extraction Data in Goaf
Surface wells in goaf areas(SGV)have been successfully implemented and applied as a pressure relief gas mining and outburst prevention technology in coal mines. It is necessary to grasp the internal relationship between pressure relief mining and surface wells for coal mine safety production. However, currently, empirical and descriptive analysis in this direction is not sufficient. This article takes 29 surface wells in 4 working faces of a certain mine in Huainan as an example to analyze the total gas flow in the goaf, including exhaust pressure, surface well diameter, production data, and distance to the working face. The evolution of coal seam gas flow is divided into a sharp upward stage,a downward stage, and a stable stage. The results indicate that the depressurization effect and enhanced permeability of coal seams are the main reasons for the sharp upward phase, while the downward phase is caused by the gradual compaction of coal seams and the decrease in gas pressure, with the latter being the main controlling factor.Compared with the direct extraction process without pressure relief mining, the gas extraction amount has increased by 328.67 times, indicating that pressure relief mining significantly improves the gas extraction effect.
