The Effect of Spraying Different Concentrations of Zinc Sulfate on Cadmium Absorption in Rapeseed
This study conducted a pot experiment to investigate the effects of spraying different concentrations of zinc sulfate on cadmium uptake by rapeseed,as well as on rapeseed yield and soil pH.The experimental results showed that compared to untreated plants, spraying a certain concentration of zinc sulfate solution had a significant effect on reducing cadmium accumulation in plants.Spraying at around 2.5%resulted in the most significant reduction in cadmium accumulation in plants, with a decrease of 46%.Considering other concentrations, the decrease level was between 33%and 45%.When spraying at a concentration of 3%,the accumulation of cadmium in plants increases significantly by 5%.Spraying zinc fertilizer has little effect on the biomass of rapeseed.Spraying different concentrations of zinc sulfate has little effect on the content of available cadmium and pH in soil. The growth trend of plant root system and aboveground biomass is roughly the same. When spraying zinc fertilizer with a concentration of about 1.5%,the biomass of rapeseed is higher, with an increase of 12.4%.
