Application of Throttle Orifice in Offshore High Temperature and High Pressure Gas Field
There are many problems in throttling and depressurization of offshore high temperature and high pressure gas fields.Through consulting the existing development experience and combining the orifice throttling principle,this paper proposes such measures as downhole throttling and cooling to solve the lifting problem of Christmas tree,installing a throttle orifice after the nozzle to solve the nozzle erosion problem,and adding a restrictor orifice in the process system to solve the drain valve erosion and system instability problems.At the same time,the choke point of orifice block flow and cavitation and cavitation are systematically analyzed,and the method and formula for calculating orifice throttling stage,temperature and thickness are given.The field application effect is good.A set of orifice throttling process design scheme that can be used in different production periods of high temperature and high pressure gas fields has been formed to realize safe,efficient and stable development of gas fields.
