Pilot Experimental Study on Sulfuric Acid Pickling Wastewater from Cold Rolling in Steel Mills
In response to the sulfuric acid pickling wastewater generated by a cold rolling mill, single ion exchange process, single nanofiltration process, and ion exchange nanofiltration combined process were used to treat the pickling water into desalinated water for reuse.Using conductivity as the detection index, this paper explores the removal efficiency of iron ions and sulfate ions in three processes. The experimental results show that the addition of barium hydroxide can simultaneously achieve the removal of iron ions and sulfate ions. The combination of ion exchange and nanofiltration process is the optimal process, and the pre nanofiltration process of ion exchange can effectively improve the operation cycle of ion exchange. The final water conductivity is 3 μS/cm,which meets the standard for desalination water reuse.
