Effect of Coal Gangue on pH Value and Pb Available State of Heavy Metal Contaminated Soil
The utilization of solid waste of coal gangue is one of the chemical methods to solve soil pollution. For this reason, the change of physical and chemical properties of soil under the addition of coal gangue is analyzed, and the influence of coal gangue on the pH value and Pb effective state of soil polluted by heavy metals is analyzed by means of experimental testing. The results show that the passivation of coal gangue can increase the alkalinity of soil. When the addition amount is increased in the range of 1%~15%,the soil pH value will reach a larger value, increasing from 6.53 to 6.64.Coal gangue has a good effect on improving soil pH and improving its bioavailability to heavy metals.Gradually increasing the amount of coal gangue, the soil formed a lower concentration of available elements, and gradually regional equilibrium state, can reduce the availability of Pb 2.21%~16.31%.This study is helpful to improve the understanding of the chemical properties of coal gangue from the perspective of chemical engineering, and plays a certain role in improving the utilization efficiency of coal gangue in the future.
