Analysis of the Effect of Environmental Air Quality Assurance during the"Second Youth Conference"in Taiyuan City
Based on the actual monitoring results of environmental air in Taiyuan City during the"Second Youth Conference",this paper analyzes the environmental air quality status and the impact of motor vehicle restrictions on air quality during the"Second Youth Conference"in Taiyuan City.Real time on-site monitoring of particulate pollution status is carried out using atmospheric particulate matter lidar equipment.The analysis results indicate that during the"Second Youth Conference",the air quality in Taiyuan City was good,and no particulate matter pollution occurred.During the guarantee period of the"Second Youth Congress"in Taiyuan City,the air quality decreased by 7.2%compared to before the guarantee,and by 14.3%compared to after the guarantee.The main pollutants PM2.5,CO,and NO2 reached 22.6%,12.5%,and 9.1%respectively compared to before the guarantee.The restriction of motor vehicles has a significant impact on air quality.Compared with before the restriction,PM2.5 decreased by 18.2%,PM10 decreased by 10.5%,and NO2 decreased by 9.1%during the restriction period.The particulate matter composition shows that the impact of pollution sources such as motor vehicle exhaust and coal combustion on atmospheric particulate matter decreased during the"Second Youth Congress"period.
