Study on the Adsorption Performance of 3D Attapulgite for Nickel Ions(Ⅱ)in Water
Using attapulgite as raw material,N-aminoethyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane as a coupling agent, and glutaraldehyde as a cross-linking agent,a three-dimensional attapulgite adsorbent was prepared.By varying external conditions such as adsorption temperature, the adsorption performance of three-dimensional pumice was investigated. The results indicated that the Freundlich isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetic equations better describe the adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics of Ni(Ⅱ)by three-dimensional pumice.Under conditions of 25℃,an addition amount of 0.030 0 g,Ni(Ⅱ)concentration of 5 mg/L,pH of 4,the removal rate exceeded 99%.Furthermore,the adsorption of Ni(Ⅱ)ions primarily occurs in a coordinated form, demonstrating potential practical value in industrial and water quality research for Ni(Ⅱ)ion removal.
