Determination of Antimony in Water Treatment Chemical Sodium Hypochlorite by Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry
The method for determination of antimony in water treatment chemical sodium hypochlorite by atomic fluorescence spectrometry was established. The nitric acid system was used for pretreatment, and thiourea and ascorbic acid were added as reducing and masking agents, the antimony was determined by atomic fluorescence spectrometry.Under the optimum conditions, there was a good linear relationship between the mass concentration of antimony solution and its fluorescence intensity in the range of 0.0~10.0 μg/L,the correlation coefficient was 0.999 7,the detection limit of the method was 0.000 7 μg/g,the spiked recoveries of samples ranged from 81.0%to 91.6%,and the relative standard deviations of the determination results were 8.4%and 9.1%(n=6),respectively.This method was simple and fast, with high sensitivity and good accuracy, and was suitable for the determination of antimony in water treatment chemical sodium hypochlorite.
