Improvement of Spectrophotometric Method for Determining the Content of Biuret in Water-soluble Fertilizers Containing a Large Number of Elements
In this article, anhydrous ethanol and anhydrous sodium carbonate were used to improve the pretreatment method of water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers samples. The biuret content was determined by spectrophotometry. The feasibility, precision and accuracy of the method were analyzed. The experimental results show that the method of treating samples with anhydrous ethanol and anhydrous sodium carbonate is feasible for the determination of biuret content, with good accuracy and precision, especially for water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers. It is easy to operate and can effectively eliminate the influence of medium elements on the color results.
