During coal mine excavation operations,collapse columns are often encountered,which is a major threat to safe excavation.In the process of coal mining,reasonable measures need to be taken to ensure the smooth and safe passage of collapse columns during excavation.On the basis of summarizing the foundation of the excavation face passing through the collapse column,several commonly used support technologies for the excavation face passing through the collapse column were analyzed.Finally,the basic safety protection measures during coal mine excavation were summarized in order to provide assistance for the development of coal mine excavation operations.
