Remediation of Heavy Metal Contaminated Soil by Coal Gangue and Potential Ecological Risk Assessment
The utilization of solid waste of coal gangue is one of the chemical methods to solve soil pollution. Therefore, the influence of coal gangue on the remediation of heavy metal contaminated soil was analyzed, and the potential ecological risks were evaluated through experimental tests. The results show that coal gangue can effectively reduce the toxicity of Pb,reduce the migration rate of heavy metals, and facilitate the migration of heavy metals, indicating that coal gangue has excellent passivation. With the increase of the amount of coal gangue, the Cf index of Pb rises first and then decreases, which can improve the pH of soil, promote the transformation of lead form, and help to improve the polluted land. This study is helpful to improve the understanding of the chemical properties of coal gangue from the perspective of chemical engineering, and plays a role in improving the utilization efficiency of coal gangue in the future.
