Preparation Process of Pine Sawdust Activated Carbon Using Response Surface Methodology
Pine sawdust contains a lot of cellulose, lignin, tannin and other plant secondary substances, which is an ideal biomass carbon raw material. The effects of preparation conditions of pine sawdust on the adsorption properties of activated carbon were studied by static adsorption method. On the basis of single factor experiment, response surface analysis(RSM)was used to optimize the preparation of pine sawdust activated carbon. The results showed that the optimum preparation conditions were microwave power 350 W,activation time 8 min and mass impregnation ratio 2:4.The optimized process obtained by response surface analysis is significant, which can provide a theoretical basis for the large-scale preparation of activated carbon from pine sawdust.
