Research on the Influencing Factors and Optimization of Thermal Runaway Risk in Organic Peroxide Polymerization Reaction
In practical applications, organic peroxides are often used as initiators in monomer polymerization processes, but they have instability and thermal decomposition characteristics, resulting in frequent thermal runaway events and serious harm to the ecological environment. To address such issues, this study focuses on two typical compounds,di tert butyl peroxide(DTBP)and benzoic acid peroxide(TBPB),to investigate their potential thermal runaway risks and systematically explore the related mechanisms. The ultimate goal of this study is to provide a scientific and rigorous basis for reducing environmental risks caused by thermal runaway,in order to ensure the safety and environmental protection of industrial processes.
