Silica Extraction Process from Rice Husk Ash Using Response Surface Methodology
This study investigates the efficient solubility of SiO2 in rice husk ash under low concentration alkaline conditions.Firstly, single factor experiments were conducted on four factors:temperature,NaOH concentration, time, and liquid-solid ratio. Then,a combination experiment was designed using three factors:temperature,NaOH concentration, and time, with SiO2 dissolution rate as the evaluation index. The results showed that the temperature was 124℃,the mass fraction of NaOH was 8%,the time was 1.5 hours, and the liquid-solid ratio was 10:1(mL:g).Under this condition, multiple experiments have shown that the dissolution rate of SiO2 reaches 98%.This study provides technical support for the recycling and resource utilization of rice husk agricultural waste, not only turning it into treasure, but also protecting the ecological environment.
