Determination of Iodides in Groundwater by Ion Chromatography
Iodine ions,as an essential intake component of the human body, need to be determined by measuring the concentration of iodine ions in groundwater in the absence of external iodine intake conditions to determine the local iodine intake situation and ensure that its concentration is not less than 5 μg/L.Therefore,this article takes water quality determination in a certain region as an example to improve the ion chromatography testing scheme from the aspects of detection method selection, sample collection and processing, experimental condition design, and instrument reagent preparation.Secondly, peak area quantification, standard curve analysis, and precision testing are carried out for iodide testing. The results of ion chromatography are reliable and can achieve accurate, efficient, automated, and pollution-free detection of groundwater iodide ions.
