Application Analysis of Emergency Shut-off Valve in Liquefied LNG System
Combining Hazard and Operability Analysis(HAZOP)assessment and Layer of Protection Analysis(LOPA)for risk identification in chemical tank areas,it is necessary to carry out the transformation and application of emergency shut-off valves. To this end,a risk analysis of the tank area is conducted first, and the functions and principles of commonly used shut-off valves are discussed, providing a foundation for engineering renovation.Secondly, specific renovation plans will be proposed based on engineering cases, while improving the design requirements and application principles of the shut-off valve. Finally, implementing emergency shut-off valves in LNG systems can improve the application of media in tank areas the safety.
