Analysis and Optimization of the Operation of a Hydrogenated Acidic Water Stripper in a Refinery
In response to the problems in the operation of the hydrogenation type acidic water stripping tower in a sulfur unit of a refinery,this paper analyzes the reasons for the serious mismatch between the amount of acidic water entering the unit and the amount of feed entering the hydrogenation type acidic water stripping tower,identifies the root cause,and formulates targeted optimization measures.After implementing optimization measures,the operation of the hydrogenation type acidic water stripping tower is stable,and all parameters are within the control range.Not only did it solve the problem of matching the amount of acidic water with the amount of feed,but it also reduced the amount of steam used and significantly reduced the energy consumption of the device,achieving significant results.
