Research on Corrosion Control Measures for Natural Gas Pipelines
In order to ensure the normal operation of natural gas long-distance pipelines and reduce the risk of pipeline corrosion,a pipeline corrosion control measure combining anti-corrosion coatings and cathodic protection is proposed. When magnesium alloy sacrificial anode protection is adopted, the effective protection distance of the pipeline is about 3 km,and the polarization effect is good. When external current and sacrificial anode are combined to protect the pipeline, and the current at both ends of the anti-corrosion station is reduced, the potential distribution is more uniform, and the cathodic protection efficiency is increased from 42%to 100%.The application shows that the joint control measure has a good cathodic protection effect on pipelines.
