Application Research on Supramolecular Polymer Chemical Leak Sealing Technology
The geological fractures and pores in the reservoir section of the Mahu block are developed, and the occurrence rate of well leakage is high, but the plugging effect is poor.In order to improve the plugging effect and enhance the efficiency of oilfield development, research has been conducted on supramolecular polymer plugging technology. The study on the shear dilution characteristics of supramolecular polymer aqueous solutions shows that the supramolecular polymer TDL-1 aqueous solution generally exhibits low viscosity at high shear rates and high viscosity at low shear rates.A small change in shear rate near the viscosity transition point can cause a significant change in viscosity. The sand bed sealing test shows that 10%~15%TDL-1 solution can form good bonding on the sand bed, with a sealing pressure of 4 MPa.A sealing formula was formed by using ultrafine calcium carbonate as a reinforcing agent and compounding bridge plugging materials, with a pressure bearing capacity of up to 6 MPa for different width crack plates. The Mahu block has been applied to 8 wells on site, with a one-time success rate of 88.9%for plugging.Compared with conventional bridge plugging techniques, the average plugging loss time has been reduced by 93.7%,and the leakage volume has been reduced by 96%.The research and application of supramolecular polymer plugging technology have shown that it has the advantages of wide adaptability to formation fractures, easy on-site configuration and pumping, high success rate of plugging, and low risk of re leakage, laying a good foundation for improving drilling and development efficiency in the Mahu block.
