The present study utilizes an intelligent integrated COD digestion instrument to assess the feasibility of measuring COD in high-chloride wastewater. This assessment is based on the detection limit, lower limit of quantification, precision, and accuracy of the measurement method. The experimental results indicate that the detection limit is less than 10 mg/L,with a relative standard deviation for precision ranging from 1.3%to 6.7%,and a relative error for accuracy between-4.1%and 2.5%.Both precision and accuracy demonstrate relatively high levels. The measurements obtained using the intelligent integrated COD digestion instrument meet the standards set forth in HJ/T70-2001 regarding precision and accuracy for determining COD in high-chloride wastewater.Furthermore, this instrument offers ease of operation.
