Practical Application of Cyclone Aeration System in a Coal Chemical Waste water Treatment Plant
A coal chemical company in Shanxi has three sewage treatment systems. The first and second phase sewage stations use microporous hose aeration for SBR process, while the regional sewage plant uses butterfly jet aeration for CASS process. Both systems have problems such as high energy consumption of on-site dynamic equipment operation, uneven aeration, unstable effluent indicators, and difficult maintenance of aeration systems. To address the above issues, implement technical transformation measures and change the use of cyclone aeration system in aeration equipment. After the renovation, the treatment capacity of the first phase sewage station reached 2 400 m3/d,an increase of 20%compared to before. The treatment capacity of the second phase sewage station has reached 6 000 m3/d,an increase of 25%compared to before. The treatment capacity of the sewage plant has reached 13 000 m3/d,an increase of 30%compared to before. At the same time, the jet pump was discontinued, saving approximately 1.5 million yuan in electricity costs annually. The research aims to provide solutions and ideas for the expansion and renovation of sewage treatment facilities in the future.
