Analysis and Design Optimization of Processing Defects in Low Alloy Steel for Stamping
The microstructure, inclusions, and properties of the surface,1/4,and center regions(along the thickness center)corresponding to different positions along the width direction of normal plates and stamped cracked specimens were analyzed. The results show that the ferrite content gradually decreases from the surface to the center, while the upper bainite content gradually increases. At the same time, there is a Weinstein structure, which reduces the elongation of the material and deteriorates its formability.By adopting measures such as adjusting the layer cooling process, reducing the final rolling temperature, and increasing the coiling temperature for optimization, and conducting stamping verification on the produced products. The verification result shows the forming performance is good, and there is no cracking at the R corner position and fascia position, which can fully meet the requirements of cold processing.
