Performance Analysis of Biochar Pulverized Coal Mixed Injection in Blast Furnace
This study aims to explore the feasibility and advantages of biomass charcoal-coal powder dual injection technology and propose possible improvements through the analysis of its performance in blast furnace.Through experimental testing and numerical simulation, this study analyzes the combustion characteristics and thermodynamic performance of biomass charcoal-coal powder dual injection,as well as its impact on blast furnace gas temperature, coal consumption, and pollutant emissions. The experimental results show that biomass charcoal,as a substitute fuel for coal powder, can burn stably in dual injection of blast furnace, providing a new idea for increasing blast furnace feed. The numerical simulation results indicate that the dual injection of biomass charcoal-coal powder can significantly improve the combustion efficiency of the blast furnace, reduce coal consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. In addition, this study preliminarily evaluates the economic and environmental benefits of biomass charcoal-coal powder dual injection technology, and the results indicate that this technology has broad application prospects in the blast furnace metallurgical industry.
