Practice of Stopping the Discharge Surface of a 4 000 m3 Blast Furnace in China
Based on the practical background of the shutdown of a large blast furnace in China,this paper analyzes and summarizes the entire process of shutdown.By formulating a detailed shutdown plan,carefully preparing before shutdown,and finely operating the shutdown process,the full gas recovery and fast and safe shutdown of the blast furnace were achieved.The entire shutdown time was 6 hours and 50 minutes,accurately reducing to the target material line,creating good conditions for shortening the maintenance period and smooth start-up.
