Experimental Study on Quantitative Detection of Sulfate Ions in Concentrate Powder
The main research focuses on the experimental method for quantitatively detecting sulfate ions in concentrate powder, which involves weighing an appropriate amount of concentrate powder, adding water and heating it at low temperature until the sulfate is dissolved, filtering, and adjusting the volume.Hydrochloric acid is added to the filtrate for acidification, while stirring and slowly adding excess BaCl2 solution to generate BaSO4 precipitate. After filtering, washing, and drying, the mass of BaSO4 is weighed, and the sulfate ion content is calculated.Through experiments,it was found that qualitative analysis indicating that SO42-undetected is not suitable for this method, while qualitative analysis indicating that SO42-detected is suitable for this method, and the method is accurate and reliable.
