Optimization of Passivation and Drying System in Cold Rolling Plant
After the production of cold-rolled galvanized sheet metal is completed, the surface of the coating reacts with water in a humid environment to form zinc hydroxide.Under these conditions,it is easy to form corrosion products such as white rust.In order to solve this problem, the production line has added a post-treatment tower passivation system process.A layer of chromium solution is applied on both sides of the plate and strip, and then dried by hot air. Finally,a passivation film is formed on the surface of the steel strip to prevent white rust during the intermediate storage process of the steel coil and achieve the purpose of corrosion prevention. However,in actual production,a series of problems were encountered, and measures such as adding remote control systems and adding discharge pipelines for ignition burners were taken to optimize and improve the equipment, resulting in significant results.
