Property Analysis of MIG Welding Joint of T4003 Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Strip
T4003 Hot rolled stainless steel strip in order to achieve continuous production in the pickling line, the front and rear steel strips need to be welded by MIG welding.Based on the mechanical properties testing and microstructure analysis of the MIG welded joint of the T4003 hot-rolled steel strip in a steel plant,it is concluded that the microstructure of the weld zone of the T4003 welded joint is composed of ferrite and austenite, and can be divided into HAZ1,HAZ2 and HAZ3 zones according to the microstructure of the heat-affected zone:HAZ1 is composed of martensite and ferrite,HAZ2 is composed of ferrite and massive martensite,HAZ3 and HAZ2 are similar in morphology, but the martensite content in this region is less than that in other heat affected zones.Martensitic structure was formed in the heat affected zone, and obvious hardening occurred. All welded joints broke at the base metal position during the tensile process. No fracture was found in the results of face bending and back bending tests.
