Effects of Reductive Temperature & Time on Metallic Particles Growth During Direct Reduction
The metal particle size has an important influence on the metallization rate and metal-gangue separation of direct reduction product. The reductive temperature and time are the two basic means of controlling metal particle size.Theoretical analysis and experiments of reductive temperature and time on metal particle growth during direct reduction were investigated. The result indicated that temperature increasement can increase the rate of metal particles nucleation and growth.Time increasement can increase the diffusion distance of metal atoms, promote the metal particles migration and aggregation.
