Practical Research on Gas Control Technology of Directional Drilling in Outburst Coal Seams
The main coal seam in the 2-211 long mining face of Xinzhi Coal Mine is the No.2 coal seam.According to the classification of outburst danger levels,it belongs to the coal and gas outburst danger coal seam.In order to solve the problem of gas extraction in the outburst coal seam,the directional drilling method is used to control the gas extraction in the affected area and goaf by mining.Practical applications have shown that after using directional drilling for gas control,the average gas concentration in the upper corner and return airway is reduced to 0.47％.The gas control effect is significant,and a large amount of gas in the goaf is recovered and reused,reducing the cost of gas control and achieving good safety and economic benefits.
