Fatigue Crack Propagation Performance Analysis of Friction Stir Welding Joint of ZK60 Magnesium Alloy
The fatigue crack propagation performance of ZK60 plate was studied by means of experimental test by using gantry FSW equipment. The results show that many micro crack structures are formed on the surface of the sample. At the initial fatigue fracture stage,a small facet of crack growth is formed in the fatigue fracture region. After the crack reaches the stable expansion stage, the fan-shaped fracture morphology is formed, and the river pattern is formed in the stable expansion zone, and many cleavage planes and cleavage steps are generated. The fatigue welded joint has coordinated deformation due to grain orientation change. The number of recrystallized grains decreases significantly when fatigue fracture occurs in the weld core. This study is helpful to analyze the mechanical properties of welded joints and provide theoretical support for the design of excellent welded joints.
