The Effect of Quenching Heat Treatment on the Structure and Properties of Martensitic Stainless Steel
Martensitic stainless steel plays an important role in many industrial applications due to its excellent strength and hardness characteristics, especially in environments with extremely high requirements for wear resistance and corrosion resistance. In order to further meet the service performance of the test material under high pressure and high temperature conditions, the experiment proposes to study the effect of quenching heat treatment on the microstructure and macroscopic properties of 06Cr11Ni2MoVNb2 martensitic stainless steel. The effects of different cooling methods and quenching temperatures on the microstructure and properties of the test steel were compared and analyzed from three aspects:microstructure, tensile properties, and mechanical properties. The results show that the steel structure obtained by quenching the steel body is mainly lath martensite, cooled austenite and carbide. When the quenching temperature is 1040 ℃,the comprehensive properties of the test steel are the best, which indicates that different cooling methods and quenching temperatures have a very significant impact on the properties and structures of the sample steel.
