Stability Analysis of a West Dump Slope of an Iron Mine
The west dump of an iron mine is located close to the west end of the stope and mainly serves the waste rock produced by the previous open-pit stope and the current underground mining. It is the current dump in use.In order to ensure the safe production of the mine, the research methods of engineering survey, engineering geological surveying and mapping, indoor test and field test, theoretical research and numerical simulation are adopted. The stability of the dump under current conditions and influencing factors is analyzed and studied. The results show that the minimum safety factor of the mine dump under natural conditions, rainfall conditions and earthquake conditions is greater than the limit value required by the code, and the whole dump is in a stable state.
