This article introduces the design characteristics of a 1680 m3 blast furnace in China,including high efficiency,long service life,energy conservation,and environmental protection.The blast furnace adopts an environmentally friendly design of ore tanks and iron casting yards,reliable and energy-saving top equipment,efficient and long-lasting furnace body design,second-generation rotary cutting top combustion hot blast furnace technology,third-generation environmentally friendly bottom filter slag treatment technology,and BCRT blower unit equipment.After being put into operation,it has achieved good application results.After stable operation,all technical and economic indicators of the blast furnace are at the leading level of the same level of blast furnaces in China.
