In the production of electrolytic aluminum,a certain enterprise in Guangxi found that the w(LiF+KF)in the electrolyte reached 10%,seriously affecting the normal operation of the electrolytic cell.On the basis of analyzing the sources of high content LiF and KF,the influence of LiF and KF content on electrolysis temperature,current efficiency,electrolyte viscosity,and furnace bottom precipitation was studied.Targeted control measures such as increasing aluminum level,increasing electrolyte molecular ratio,and using low lithium and low alumina electrolyte dilution were taken to effectively reduce the impact of potassium and lithium salts in production and ensure the stability of electrolytic cell operation.
