Application of Time Domain Induced Polarization Method in Exploration of A Polymetallic Deposit
The induced polarization method is a kind of prospecting method to study the physical property parameters of rock ore by using the different induced polarization effect of the natural electric field of ore and surrounding rock under the action of external electric field. This work mainly carried out the measurement work of intermediate gradient sweep and symmetrical quadrupole sounding in the geochemical exploration anomaly area of the metal mine, analyzed the resistivity and polarizability characteristics of the time domain induced polarization method in the metal mine, and identified the buried depth, tendency and occurrence development of the ore anomaly. The results show that the results of electrical interpretation are in agreement with the geological and geochemical data, which provides a basis for searching for hidden ore deposits in this area.
