Research on the Effect of Heating Temperature on the Structure and Properties of Hot Formed Bridge Shell Steel
In order to determine the suitable heating temperature for the hot formed bridge shell steel sheet, the changes in the metallographic structure, tensile properties, and series temperature impact toughness of Q460QK material after air cooling to room temperature for 90 seconds were studied under four heating temperature conditions of 750 ℃,800 ℃,850 ℃,and 900℃.The results show that as the heating temperature increases, the original acicular ferrite structure transforms into quasi polygonal ferrite and pearlite structure. When the heating temperature exceeds 750 ℃,the yield strength of the sample significantly decreases, from 530 MPa to 388 MPa.The materials have good low-temperature toughness after heat treatment at different temperatures. The experimental results provide some experience and reference for the setting of heating temperature before stamping of hot formed bridge shell steel.
