Exploration of the Influence of Fluxes on the Determination of Carbon Content in Steel
The testing process of CS-444(HF-400)was optimized through experiments, and the effects of flux dosage, flux type, and flux sample placement on carbon content testing in steel were explored. The results showed that the flux was a mixture of tungsten and iron, with a composition of 1.2 g tungsten particles and 0.5 g iron. The results obtained were accurate and reproducible under the condition of uniformly mixing the flux with the sample. From this,it can be concluded that under the same testing conditions, the combustion reaction of the sample is complete, the test results are accurate, economical, and reasonable, and can provide reference for the testing process of related carbon content in steel.
