The Influence of Coiling and Smoothing Processes on the Mechanical Properties of Q350EWR1
The microstructure and mechanical properties of Q350EWR1 high weather resistant hot-rolled railway steel under different coiling temperatures and smoothing processes were observed and analyzed using optical microscopy, tensile experiments, and phase transformation simulation software. The results showed that the strength of the steel increased sharply with the decrease of coiling temperature below 620 ℃.When the coiling temperature was in the range of 620~660 ℃,the strength fluctuation amplitude was small, and the mechanical properties tended to stabilize. There was a clear corresponding relationship between the strength of the strip steel and the microstructure at different temperatures. After the leveling process, the yield strength of hot-rolled strip steel increases, but the change in tensile strength is not significant.
